Radio Lab
Radiolab is a radio program broadcast on public radio stations in the United States. Hosted by Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich, each hour-long show focuses on a topic of a scientific and philosophical nature, through stories, interviews, and thought experiments. The show attempts to approach broad, difficult topics such as “time” and “morality” in an accessible and light-hearted manner. Its audio production style is distinctive, often using rapid edits to construct an expository conversation. The credits are generally read by people who were interviewed or featured on the show, rather than by the hosts.
Radiolab is produced by WNYC, a public radio station in New York City. The show is nationally syndicated, and is also available as a podcast.
Transom
Transom.org is an experiment in channeling new work and voices to public radio through the Internet, for discussing that work, and encouraging more.
